Details
U type screw conveyor is not interfered by the central axis, and has special advantages for conveying belt and winding materials. It is used to transport grid removed from sewage screening device and dewatered sludge cake. It has good environmental protection performance. It uses totally enclosed conveying and easy cleaning spiral surface, which can ensure environmental hygiene and the materials delivered are free from contamination and leakage. The torque is large and the energy consumption is low. Because the screw has no shaft, the material is not easy to be blocked and the discharge port is not blocked, the screw can operate at a lower speed, drive smoothly and reduce energy consumption. Shaftless screw conveyor has the characters of high reliability, long lifetime, good applicability, convenience to install and maintain. The temperature of materials can reach up to 100℃， the biggest dip angle can be up to 30°. The screw conveyor is a conveyor device, which utilizes the rotation of the helical axis in the U-groove to achieve the delivery of materials.
The U type screw conveyor is mainly composed of driving device, head assembly, shaft-less screw, groove liner, inlet, outlet, cover (when needed), base, etc.
1- The driving device adopts helical gear reducer. The reducer is opposite to the outlet when horizontal and the reducer is at the outlet when inclined.
2- The cabinet is U, and the upper part is covered with rain proof machine cover. The material is stainless steel or carbon steel.
3- Non - axial spirals: stainless steel or 16Mn.
4- Trough lining: nylon or polyethylene plate, nylon material.
5- There are two kinds of inlet and outlet: the square and the round. The form of general inlet and outlet is decided by the user and the square is the main one.
